The Adventure Tour Operators Association of Himachal Pradesh (ATOAHP) is founded upon the principles of professional integrity, safety, and sustainable stewardship of the Himalayan ecosystem. This charter serves as the definitive guide for all members, ensuring that the adventure tourism industry in Himachal Pradesh remains a global benchmark for quality and responsibility.

As operators of the mountains, we recognize our unique position as gatekeepers to one of the most fragile yet magnificent environments on Earth.

Safety is the non-negotiable cornerstone of all ATOAHP operations. Our members are mandated to:

• Maintain daily safety briefings and equipment inspections before and during all high-altitude expeditions.
• Ensure all technical leads hold valid MOI/Advance/Rescue certifications from recognized institutes.
• Equip all expeditions with mandatory medical kits, pulse oximeters, and emergency supplemental oxygen where required.
